Brian Lee Deakins age 40 of Sacramento, passed away peacefully at 1:35 a.m., Sunday, February 15th, 2015, in the state of Nevada.
Brian was born on February 16th, 1974 in Garland, Texas and lived a life that impacted so many of those around him. He worked as a caregiver to one of his closest friends, Joe Euretig and spent many of his days in the state of Washington with his precious daughter, Emily. One who loved life and adventure, Brian constantly traveled and enjoyed experiencing new things such as cooking and trying exotic food. He was a musician at heart and loved playing the guitar and singing. He previously attended Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church and participated in the choir. A great listener, Brian held his family dear to his heart.
He is survived by his mother and father, Brenda and Larry Deakins of Plano, TX; his brother, Taylor Fazand; his daughter, Emily Deakins; his good friend, Joe Euretig and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Hazel Cauley and William Barnes; and two uncles and two aunts.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015, at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Donahue officiating.
Burial will be in the Princeton Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Fazand, Brandon Fitzgerald, Zach Hobbs, Ken New, Rickie Lafon, and Johnny Wilson.
