Brenda Jean Scales

Brenda Jean Scales, age 75, of Greenville, Texas, passed away May 6, 2015 in Plano, Texas. With sad hearts we say "see you soon" to Brenda. She was a genuine light to so many who knew her. Brenda was born March 20, 1940 in Tom Bean, Texas where she also grew up. Brenda was a member of the Family Fellowship Church in Greenville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son, Nathan Trent Scales; her parents, Fielder and Jewel Harris; and four brothers, Jack Harris, Dan Harris, Alan Harris, and Philip Harris. Brenda is survived by her husband, Wallace Scales; three daughters, Karen Hill and her husband, Bruce, Vicki Nelson and her husband, Sam and Alicia James; son, Michael Todd Scales and his wife, Nikki; six grandchildren, Charlie Hill and his wife, Shelby, Danielle Nelson, Jarrod Nelson, Braeden James, Brooklyn James, and Dakota Scales; her brother, Jerry Harris; and many other family members. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 11, 2015 at Family Fellowship Church. Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 11, 2015 at Family Fellowship Church, 401 Division Street, Greenville, Texas 75401. Reverend Paul Blue officiating. Interment will follow in White Mound Cemetery, Mary Fitch Road off of F.M. 902, Tom Bean, Texas 75489. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Family Fellowship Church, 401 Division Street, Greenville, Texas 75401.
