Bobby Sadler, 90, of Wylie, TX passed away at home on September 11, 2024. Bobby was born on November 18, 1933, to Drewery and Virgie Sadler in Dodd City, TX. He grew up picking cotton with his family until he was drafted into the US Army in 1954. He spent almost two years stationed in Japan. During that time, he successfully completed the U.S. Army 16mm Projectionist School. After the army, he married Nada Lee Kilpatrick on August 17, 1957, and together they had two daughters, Katricia and Tammy. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved watching the Texas Rangers and was happy to see them win the championship in 2023. He recently said he had a long, good life and the only thing that would have made it better was more time to enjoy it with his wife, Nada, who passed away in 1973. After 90 great years, he was ready for God to call him home.
He is survived by his grandchildren Amy Blann, Kristie LaRue, Leslie and Adam Bal, and Cody and Jessica Blann; great grandchildren Katie LaRue, Richard LaRue, Garrison Bal, Adelyn Bal, and Gus Blann; two great-great grandchildren; brother HB Sadler; and son in law Ricky Blann. He was preceded in death by his wife Nada, daughters Katricia West and Tammy Blann, parents Drewery and Virgie Sadler, along with four brothers and two sisters and his beloved dog Lucy.
