Billy Lee Wells

Born on June 15, 1943, Billy Lee Wells, beloved husband, son, father and grandfather, passed peacefully on June 5, 2013 in McKinney, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Ralph Wells. Bill is survived by wife, Amy Wells; mother, Zelma Wells and sister, Linda Hunter. He is also survived by his children, Crystal Wells Durand, Cindy Wells McCasland and Alan Rafe Wells; grandchildren, Richard Pantoja, Floyd and Noah Durand, Ben and Jerl McCasland, Lauren and Lainee Wells and Kylie and Kamryn Leeper and pups Shady Lee and Sugar Lee Wells. Bill retired from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1998. He cherished time on Lake Eufaula, with his precious dogs, his many travels and spending time with his family. Bill will be remembered most for his kind and giving heart.

A funeral service will take place Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069. Burial will follow immediately at Pecan Grove Cemetery, 1701 S. McDonald St., McKinney. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the McKinney SPCA, Russell H.
