Billy Don Lemmond

Billy Don Lemmond, 72, of Little Elm, Texas died Thursday, October 11, 2012. Billy was born to Leroy and Rosie Lemmond on December 28, 1940. He was a big fan of all of the Dallas sports teams. His favorite, though, was the Dallas Cowboys. Billy is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughters, Linda Lemmond of Frisco, Donna King (Chris) of Oak Cliff and Susan Brown (Lee) also of Oak Cliff; grandchildren, Michelle Pineda, David Higgins, Tracy Brown and Chris Brown; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Alexis, Jonathan and Nathan and his siblings, Charles Lemmond (Jean) of McKinney, Dorothy Akin (Bobby) of Mabank, Leta Neal (Ron) of Melissa as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Rosie Lemmond. The family will receive friends at a visitation scheduled for Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 5:00 " 7:00 P.M. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, 601 S Tennessee St, 75069. A funeral to celebrate Billy’s life will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pecan Grove Cemetery.
