Billy Joe Jones, age 57, passed away suddenly February 27, 2011 in Princeton, Texas. He was born August 22, 1953 in Tallassee, Alabama to parents, Welcome and Inez (Jones) Jones.
Billy was a loving husband and father who loved hunting, fishing, mowing the lawn and the Dallas Cowboys Football Team. Billy had been a self employed contractor laying carpeting before working at C & C Wholesale Company as a truck driver.
Billy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rebecca "Becky" (Duncan) Jones, sons, Billy Jack Jones and his wife Christina and Bryce Lynn Jones and his wife Jennifer, daughter, April Darlene Jones, five grandchildren; Billy Jack Jones Jr., Jesse Brayden Jones, Jaylee Tennice Jones, Joseph Tyler Jones and Ragan Rebecca Jones, sisters; Ann Golden and her husband Pat, Shirley Crenshaw and her husband Junior and Martha Roberson and her husband Brad.
VISITATION will be 6 " 8 P.M. Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2 P.M. Thursday March 3, 2011 at the Sachse Chapel. Billy will be laid to rest at Mills Cemetery, Garland, Texas.
