Billy Dean Hutson

Billy Dean Hutson, SMSGT, U.S. Air Force Retired, age 83, of Joplin Missouri passed away October 21, 2013 at his home. He lived in Joplin the past 6 months moving there from Donna, Texas. He was born April 19, 1930 in Sachse, Texas to Lee Hutson and Cleo Lane Hutson. He served in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years before retiring in 1970 as a Senior Master Sergeant. He served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Following his retirement he lived in Parsons, Kansas area from 1970-2005 where he served as Hospital Administrator before retiring. He was a member of The Retired Enlisted Association and a life member of The Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by son, Gary Hutson and daughter Tracy Hutson-Stonecipher.
Billy married Patricia Nell Burleson December 3, 1949 in Durant, Oklahoma and she survives. Additional survivors include daughter, Sharon Brannan and her husband Gary of Joplin, MO; brother, L.B. Hutson of San Antonio, TX; brother Jerry Hutson and his wife Nancy of Murphys, CA; brother, Don Hutson of Guatemala; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home 2925 Fifth St. Sachse, Texas 75048 with Internment immediately following in the Sachse Cemetery.
