Billy Jack Cobb, 86 of Wylie,Texas and long time resident of Iowa Park, Texas passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 after a full life filled with friends and family.
Bill was born June 21, 1932 in Zephyr, Texas to Luther and Ida Ray Cobb.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Ellett Cobb; son, David and wife Terri of Childress, Texas; daughter, Beth Ellis and husband Clayton of Montgomery, Texas; granddaughter, Michelle Horak and husband Brent of Wylie, Texas; great grandsons, Carson Horak and Austin Horak of Wylie, Texas.
Bill is also survived by two sisters, Lomahrae Pittman and husband Wayne of May, Texas and Naomi Ragsdale and husband Joe of San Saba, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Claude Cobb.
Bill graduated from Howard Payne University and was a long time employee of Hughes Tool Company.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wylie, Texas on Friday, August 17, 2018.
Services entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons, Sachse, Texas.
