Billie Jo Swaner

Billie Jo Swaner., 79, recently of Wylie, Texas, passed over to her heavenly home on April 18, 2013. She was born on Nov. 23rd 1934 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Billie Jo is survived by Her two Sons, William Craig Swaner and Jeffery Kent Swaner; Three grandchildren, Matthew Swaner, Callie Swaner and Lya Swaner; Daughter- in - Law Terry Swaner and All of her immediate Evans Family.
She was preceded in death by Her parents, Bryant Myrick and Lena Myrick; Her Husband of 54 years, Billie Jack Swaner.
Raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, after graduating from Hattiesburg H. S. she attended College in Brownsville Tx. Then returned to live with her mother and father in Vicksburg, Mississippi. It was there that she was introduced to the love of her life Billie Jack Swaner. After her uncle Lester Ray Evans had founded the match, they returned to Texas were she started her life's work of raising two boys and running her home in Garland Tx. Both Billie Jo and Billie Jack wished to retire to the beautiful town of Wylie Tx. And remained there for 27 happy years.
Considerate, kind and brilliant, Billie Jo was loved and admired by many. She will be sorely missed.
The inurnment will be at the Wylie Cemetery on April 21, 2013 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, and at Billie Jo's request, the family requests that donations be made to:
