Billie Jeanette Seale

Billie Jeanette Seale passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2022 gazing into the eyes of her husband Mike. She had been transported from Kindred Hospital Dallas Central just 2 hours earlier and was visibly pleased to be surrounded by her daughter Darlene, granddaughter Nicci, Great grandsons Noah and Micah, sister in law Wynell and a face time with her daughter Paula. She spent almost four months in the hospital valiantly fighting, kidney, heart and respiratory problems. She had a fighting will to live but her body just gave out.

She was born in Kingsville, TX on May 8, 1942 to James C Lindsay and Dorothy Quick. She was raised most of her life by her grandad and grandmother Willie Mae (Morrison) Quick, who instilled within her, a love for God that guided her entire life. She grew up in church and her Christian faith never wavered.
She graduated from Adamson High school in 1960 and went through business school and later several college courses.

After her first marriage to Gene Harkins, that produced her two daughters Paula and Darlene, ended in divorce she continued to be faithful in church. In 1974 while at a single adult Sunday school outing at a park, she spotted a little blond haired boy and commented to her friend, "I don't know who that little boy is, but I want meet his dad. " She did, and the rest is history. On November 20, 1974 she married Michael O "Mike" Seale and got two sons along with him, Steven and Dwayne who now goes by Michael. Shortly after they married they moved to Garland, Texas and started attending First Assembly of God at Garland, now known as First at Firewheel. She quickly became involved in Choir and other programs in the church. She also became an avid supporter of Teen Challenge, never missing a year of attending the banquets, even when there were more than one in a year.

She worked with Missionettes and in Children's church for many years. She always loved the kids and they loved her. She loved her Sunday school, bible studies and especially the home groups. She dearly loved the fellowship that they provided.

She was an avid sports fan. She knew when a referee missed a call and told the TV set as much. Her favorites were football and baseball unless one of the grandkids were playing. Then she liked them all; football, baseball, basketball, soccer, track or field day. She loved watching them play and rarely missed a game or event, if she could make it. And if there was any rough play where one got hurt, she was ready to let the ref know. The kids knew they could depend on her being there. That went for birthdays, too.

For many years her family went on ski trips between Christmas and New Year's Day when the kids were of school age. Several couples would caravan west to the mounts using their CBs to keep up with each other. She loved the fellowship. She loved traveling to Hawaii, Alaska, England, Wales, Scotland, Canada, Mexico, Europe (especially Paris France) the trips to various states with the Chubb's timeshares, and of course Branson, MO., plus lots of other places with lots of friends and family.

She spent many of her earlier years working as office manager for several dentists, and then she worked for Geco Prakla, a subsidiary of Schlumberger. To finish her time with them she spent 18 months in Texas City. Those were some really fun times for her because she and Mike were able to explore sights of Houston and Galveston areas together. She finished her last 18 years of working with Sherwin Williams as District Coordinator. She had many friends among the store managers because she helped keep them out of trouble by reminding them of reports that were due.

Jeanette was known for her infectious smile, beautiful eyes and a heart for people. You could not be around her for long without having your spirits lifted. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her Grandparents and parents, her sister Carolyn Hidinger and her Brother William Les Preslar. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael O Seale, daughter, Paula Jean Harkins, daughter Linda Darlene Lind, Son Michael Dwayne Seale, Son Steven Howard Seale, grandchildren Nicci Saunders, Taylor Saunders, Sean Saunders, Zachary Saunders, Austin Lind, Alexis Lind, Christopher Seale, Brittney Seale, Johnathan Seale, Brooks Seale, Spencer Seale and Tyler Seale, and Great grand children, Noah, Micah, Sonny, Sophie, Corbin, Logan, Alice, Wylie, and Willow, and Sister in laws Phyllis Preslar, Wynell Baker, Marlene McCalla and Dorothy Kimmel.
