Betty S. Wrotan

Betty S. Wrotan, 95 of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, June 23, 2016. Born August 23,1920, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Betty completed her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Lamar University and taught second grade for 20 yrs at Tyrrell Park Elementary in the South Park School District, Beaumont, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Joel Wrotan, a long time South Park Educator and sons Denny S Wrotan and Joel D Wrotan III. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia W. Darr of Garland, Texas, niece Ann Lewis, great nephew Dan Lewis of Denton, Texas and two great grandchildren, Christopher Darr and Jacquielynn Darr of Irving, Texas. She will always have a cherished place in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her and to be blessed by her grace. Memorial Services will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church 1200 N Shiloh Rd., Garland, 75042. Wednesday June 29, 2016 at 2:00pm
