Age 79, passed from this life at the Hinton Home in Farmersville, Texas on September 21, 2011. She was born to Jace and Myrtle Foster Tems in Shreveport, LA on April 21, 1932.
Betty was a resident of Princeton, Texas and a life long resident of Collin County. Betty was a member of East Fork Baptist Church in McKinney. She was married to Earl Gidney and they were blessed with two children. Betty enjoyed dance, TV, movies, especially westerns, her family and her little dog Sparkles.
Betty is survived by her daughter Linda Williams and husband Cecil, her son Danny Gidney and wife Kathy, grandchildren Vicky, Tammy, Sonja, Carissa, Lacey and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Gidney and her late husband Leroy Jackson, and grandson Nicky Roberts.

Graveside Services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Williams (Olive) Cemetery in McKinney with the Reverend Ron Hathcoat officiating.
