Beth Zachry Pate Beasley

Beth Zachry Pate Beasley born November 13, 1940 on the family farm in Potosi, Texas to B.A. and Juanita Zachry.

Beth earned her bachelor's degree in education from Texas Tech. While at Texas Tech she met Rodney Pate. They married in 1963 and had two children, David and Kristi. After Rodney's death, Beth married Jim Beasley in 2000.

Beth retired from the Garland Independent School District in June 1999 after 20 years of service. She started her career as a Teacher's Aide at Montclair Elementary School where she also later served as the Principal's Secretary. She also served in that capacity at Walnut Glen when it became an academy.

Beth enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, singing in the church choir, spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Rodney Pate; and her parents. .

Beth is survived by her husband, Jim Beasley; her son, David and his wife, Sandy and their daughter, Alexandra; her daughter Kristi and her husband, Mark and their daughter, Rachel and son, Jacob; and numerous other family members.
