Bernadette Medrano

Our dear sister passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 52. She had a big heart, was full of life, and selfless in so many ways. She had many friends and was a well-loved person. Bernadette Aragonez Medrano was born in McKinney, Texas on September 13, 1969.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus Medrano(Chuy) her mother, Lucia Rodriguez and her Father and Mother, Tony and Minga Aragonez her three sons Pablo(Lauren), Albert(Kayla) and Mario Olvera. Her pride and joy were her Beautiful grandchildren Aubree, Isaiah, Olivia, Aiden, and Aria. 6 siblings, Nina Rodriguez, Robert Guerrero, Alicia Cruz, Damian Guerrero, Juanita Aragonez, and Antonio Sandoval JR.

There will be a memorial service held for Berna at 4:00 p.m. on the 24th day of August at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral, 601 S. Tennessee St, McKinney, Texas 75069. Please feel free to attend if you would like to pay your respects.

Jesus "Chuy" Medrano was the love of her life and with him she was able to enjoy a family life and found happiness when spending time with her family and grandkids. Berna had a passion for helping others, she'd give everything to others, she enjoyed listening and dancing to 80s music, Mexican music and was a hustler when shopping and making deals. Berna's greatest characteristic was her ability to be real in every situation. She was always upfront and embraced the ability of not being afraid to communicate who she was. She was a protector in her own way and made those around her feel safe. Her Greatest accomplishment and Proudest moments were spending time with her Boys and Grandbabies.
