Belinda Kaye Abbott Morrison of Caddo Mills, Texas was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, June 02, 2021 while visiting Alaska. A memorial service celebrating Belinda's life will be under the direction of Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2343 Lake Rd. Lavon, TX 75166 with Gerry Sue Boyd officiating.
Belinda was born February 15, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to Delmar Lee Abbott and Lometa Ashton. She attended Boles High School and graduated from Greenville High School. After graduation, Belinda set high goals and achieved much success. In 1993, she began her journey with Commercial Recovery Systems as a Financial Advisor. As with many things, Belinda excelled in her professions and her journey with CRS led her to reside in Memphis, Tennessee from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Belinda moved back to Texas and began working for the United States Postal Service. She worked with the U.S.P.S. for a decade before finding her passion in the construction industry. Belinda Kaye "Bamma" was known for spreading cheer, happiness, and many smiles to everyone in her path. She found joy in collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia, cooking finger-licking good meals, and spending time with her family. Bamma loved making memories and experiences wonderful for her family through great activities ranging from relaxing on the porch to swimming near a waterfall.
Belinda is survived by her loving children, Amber Kaye Morrison of Killeen, Texas, Kaelyn Joy Foster of Jasper, Alabama, Dakota Scott Culpepper of Anchorage, Alaska, and Christopher Dean Hoover of Wills Point, Texas, mother, Lometa Domenici, and grandchildren Leylah Morrison-Clark, Logan Jones, Learik Evola, Loki Evola, Aria Boss, Zuri Johnson, Aiden Fink, Caden Hoover, Keegan Hoover, siblings, Steven Abbott, Frankie Abbott, Delmeta Hoover, Emerson Abbott, Dena Poteet, and many more loved ones.
Belinda is preceded in death by her precious father, Delmar Lee Abbott.
