Barbara Nadean Owens, age 84, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 28, 2015 in Plano, Texas. She was born March 15, 1931 in Light, Arkansas where she grew up with five sisters, Sylvia, Thelma, Lois, Alma, and Earline. Barbara lived most of her life in Texas, where she was married to Ralph Owens. They lived in a house on Lake Worth.
In her lifetime, she was afflicted by Breast Cancer, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. However, she would want to be remembered as a kind and strong woman who took care of the elderly out of her home, took pride in working at Boeing for many years, rented a booth at an antique mall and owned a convenient store in Burleson, Texas prior to her retirement.
She loved to dance, listen to country music and loved her Texas Rangers Baseball team. She is with Jesus now and would want us to celebrate her eighty-four years of life.
Barbara was preceded in death by all with the exception of Earline.
She is survived by her three sons, Danny, Ronnie and Russell Dean; and two granddaughters, Dayna and Amber. Barbara seemed to be the happiest when surrounded by her family and always had a bright smile on her face
