Barbara Angell Justice

Barbara Justice, 87. Born in Carthage, Mo., she spent most of her life in Dallas. A student of Hillcrest High School, she went on to attend Gulf Park School for Women in Gulf Park, Miss. It was on a blind date to Louann’s where she met the love of her life, James A. Justice. They began courting and eloped within a few weeks. She became a homemaker and soon had three children. They were married for 59 years until his death in 2007. She is survived by her three children, Jim Justice, Melanie Keltner and Melissa Cooley. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Snider of Virginia. She enjoyed painting, traveling to Ireland and cooking for her loved ones. Her family meant everything to her, and she felt that her great-grandchildren, Billy, Elliott and Daphne were perfect in every way.





A celebration of her life will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home on Tuesday November 22nd from 6-8:00 p.m., and a family burial will be conducted at the DFW Veterans’ Cemetery where she will be joined once again with the love of her life, James A. Justice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SPCA or the charity of your choice.The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Brookdale Assisted Living and Brookdale Hospice for their loving care.
