Barbara Jean Trevio Johnson was born on October 11, 1949, daughter of Ricardo and Della Trevio. She was the eldest of 9 children, mother of three beautiful children, and grandmother of two gorgeous grandchildren.
Barbara was a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was very proud of her entire family, and was always eager to brag about everyone's latest accomplishments to anyone she came in contact with.
Barbara enjoyed being a part of the local Catholic Community. She was deeply involved in the Stephen Ministry, Daily Mass Ministry, and ACTS. After the loss of her son, George, she became passionate about helping others suffering the loss of loved ones.
She kept this prayer in her bible:
A Hopi Prayer
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awake in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Donations in Barbara's name can be made out to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Please write "Barbara Johnson Memorial" in the memo line.
