Barbara Ann Grubbs

Barbara Ann Grubbs, age 74 of Sachse, Texas, passed from this life August 27, 2010 in Plano, Texas. Barbara was born on September 10, 1935 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Clyde and Stella Wimpee. Barbara graduated from Sherman High School in 1954. She was married to Eugene Grubbs in 1954 and together they owned and operated B & G Bait Shop on Lake Texoma until 1990.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Eugene Grubbs. She is survived by her sons Euvell Grubbs and wife Debbie of Sachse and Dana Grubbs and wife Felicia of McKinney, her daughter Denise Vice and husband Mark of Sachse, her brother Stanton Wimpee and wife Geraldine of Bells, Texas, her grandchildren Michael Grubbs, Laura Hatfield, Danielle Friday, Vanessa Vice, Bradley Grubbs, Jessica Martinez and Shelby Grubbs, and her great grandchildren Braden Grubbs, Kane Hatfield, Phoenix Hatfield and Rhiannon Grubbs.

VISITATION will be 6 " 8 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 10 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse with the Reverend Lash Banks of Murphy Road Baptist Church officiating. BURIAL will be 1 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Garden of Memory Cemetery at Colbert, Oklahoma.
