Barbara Ann Adams

June 28, 1933 — November 3, 2017

Barbara Ann Adams passed peacefully into the presence of God and His son Jesus on November 3, 2017 at 7:05 A.M.





She was born June 28, 1933 in Penelope, Texas to loving parents, Thomas Henry Snider and Mattie Marie Wells. She married Charles Arthur Adams Sr. on August 2, 1952 at Herring Avenue Methodist Church in Waco, Texas. They had four children: John Adams, Charles A. Adams, Jr., Michael Adams, and Carol Adams.





Our mom and grandmother had the sweetest spirit and was always such a big encourager. She was the prayer warrior of the family, and who we called on to lift up all of our prayer requests. She definitely had a direct line to Jesus!





Legacy: Married to Charles Arthur Adams for 65 years. 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.





Survived by: son John Adams and wife Kathy (Ben, Sharon, Brian, and Ann); son Charles Arthur Adams, Jr. and girlfriend Miriam Patricia Broyles, Debbie & Randy Dornan (children of Charles and Debbie: Trey, Chris, and Josh); son Michael Adams and wife Jody (Rachel and Lauren), daughter Carol Browning and husband Larry (Christy, Johnny, Daniel, and Jaimi). Barbara is also survived by 16 great grandchildren. She loved each and every child, grandchild, and great-grandchild.





Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, TX





Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. Reverend Larry Browning officiating.





Interment: Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX
