DRAGOO, Aubrey Duane, age 64, died in Dallas, Texas on December 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife Judith Kay Dragoo; son Scotty Duane Dragoo of Beckville, Texas; and daughter Jennifer Renee Kelly of Richardson, Texas. Other survivors include his brother Robert Dragoo of Cartersville, Georgia; sisters Betty Goetz of Lexington, Texas, Ethel Lambert of Ellijay, Georgia, Janice Long of White, Georgia, and Susan Hochkins of Ellijay, Georgia. He is survived by 9 grandchildren; Joel, Joshua, Rebekah, Micah, and Selah Dragoo; and Brayden, Ryan, Sean, and Erin Kelly. He is preceded in death by his parents; Aubrey Franklin Dragoo and Beulah Mae Tutor.
Duane was born in Temple, Texas on January 6, 1954. He married Judith Kay Gumbert on June 26, 1976, and they raised their children in Texas and Georgia. A devoted and loving husband, daddy, PawPaw, and Pop. He was a good man who loves Jesus and would give the shirt off his back to help someone. There were many occasions where he would travel to help someone who was in need. He put others in front of himself. He was a devout Christian and a member of Northplace Church. He loved his grandchildren and spent a lot of time with them.
Visitation will be at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 21st. Funeral services will be in the Chapel at 10:00am on Saturday, 12-22, at the same location.
