Ardeth Wayne Vaughan, 86, passed away on February 7, 2017, in Texas. Wayne was born in McKinney, Texas on October 22, 1930.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wanda Vaughan; sons, Danny and wife Rene, Donnie and wife Amy; and Lonnie and wife Kristina; a sister Doris Shoemaker; a brother EC Vaughan; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father Elisha Clinton and mother Lula May as well as 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Wayne had a passion for music, particularly gospel. He loved playing his harmonica and steele guitar with the South Side Band. Wayne was very involved in church, and served a life for God. It is, in fact, that the pearly gates were opened when he was called Home.
