Antonio Flores, also known as Tony, was born on June 13, 1985 as the last child of Jose Osvaldo Flores and Maria Isabel Zermeño. His siblings are Juan Jose Flores, Laura Flores Abrego, and Cristina Isabel Flores.
At the age of 13, Tony gave his life to God, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
In his high school years, Tony met his future wife, Sonia Isabel Fernandez, at a youth camp in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Tony and Sonia would frequent each other at local youth services but her Father didn’t allow Sonia to have a boyfriend. They began dating in secret in their college years (please note that this is not condoned ;) and were married on October 13, 2007 in Hillsboro, Texas. Tony and Sonia were blessed with six children together: Aimee Dorothy Flores, Arielle Ruby Flores, Adelyn Joesie Flores, Agnes Lexi Flores, Phinehas Antonio Flores, and Judah Leon Flores. Last year, Tony and Sonia celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary.
Tony was a gentle and quiet man who was known to say of himself: “I’m a man of few words.” He lived a simple life taking various driving jobs and warehouse jobs. He was a working man, making it possible for his wife to homeschool their children.
Tony and Sonia were blessed to call North Cities UPC of Garland, Texas their home church since 2016. He helped interpret services into Spanish, was a Bible Quizzing dad and coach, and served in Security.
Tony was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2022. He was received into glory, May 24, 2023 at Methodist Richardson Medical Center surrounded by his family. Tony is now delighting in the glory of his Lord and Savior as he committed his life to God, trusting in Him.
Preceding him in death was his father, Jose Osvaldo Flores. Surviving his death is his wife, Sonia; mother, Maria; siblings: Cristina, Laura and husband Genaro Abrego, and Juan and wife Maribel; children: Aimee, Arielle, Adelyn, Agnes, Phinehas, and Judah; and nieces and nephews: Osvaldo, Jose, Noemi, Grécia, Max, Diego, Isac, Lillyanna, and Halleluyah.

El año pasado, Antonio y Sonia celebraron su decimoquinto aniversario de matrimonio.
Antonio era un hombre quieto y gentil, quien decía de él mismo que, “Soy un hombre de pocas palabras.” El vivía una vida simple, tomando varios trabajos de manejo y en almacenes. Él era un hombre trabajador, haciéndolo posible que su esposa diera a sus hijos escuela en la casa.
Antonio y Sonia fueron bendecidos en llamar a la Iglesia Pentecostal Unida North Cities de Garland, Texas su iglesia principal desde el 2016. Él ayudó a interpretar servicios a Español, era un papá y entrenador en Cuestionarios Bíblicos, y sirvió en Seguridad.
Antonio fue diagnosticado con cáncer en Marzo del 2022. Fue recibido a gloria el 24 de mayo del 2023 en el Centro Médico Methodist Richardson rodeado de su familia. Antonio ahora se deleita en la gloria de su Señor y Salvador como dedicó su vida a Dios, confiando en El.

Sobrevivendo a él en su muerte es su esposa, Sonia; mama, Maria; hermanos: Cristina, Laura con su esposo Genaro Abrego, y Juan con su esposa Maribel; hijos: Aimee, Arielle, Adelyn, Agnes, Phinehas, y Judah; y sobrinos: Osvaldo, Jose, Noemi, Grécia, Max, Diego, Isac, Lillyanna, y Halleluyah.
