Anne Disney Schuelke

Anne Marie Disney Schuelke, 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 24, 2017 in her home.

The family will hold a memorial Tuesday June 27, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m at the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at 601 S. Tennesee, McKinney, Texas.

Anne was born in Denver, Colorado to Robert and Dorothy Disney on February 5 1943.She married her High School Sweetheart, Charles Edward Schuelke, September 1st of 1963. They lived and raised their children in Denver Colorado; Overland Park, Kansas; Crystal Lake, Illinois; Millard, Nebraska and Plano/McKinney, Texas.

Anne is survived by her husband Charles Edward Schuelke and her two children, Charles Edward Schuelke Jr. and his wife Lisa Ader Schuelke of Plano, Texas and Jennifer Anne Walker and her husband Patrick Walker of Aurora, Colorado.

Anne was blessed with three grandchildren: Astrid and Henry Schuelke of Plano, Texas; and Joshua Walker of Aurora, Colorado.She was also survived by her brothers Robert Disney of Castlerock, Colorado and Greg Disney of Clearfield, Utah.

Anne was a loving, caring mother and grandmother, family gatherings were always brightened by her presence. Over a seven year periodshe and Chuck had 9 foster children pass through their lives and each one was loved and left better for the time they had shared. Anne rarely missed an opportunity to support her grandchildren whether a recital, a game or a graduationShe was always there. Anne was an active member, for over 30 years, of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and her sisters will miss her.She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in social work at 50.

Anne will forever be in our hearts; rest in peace.
