Ann Leist Pennington, age 86, passed away April 19, 2015 in Richardson, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born September 10, 1928 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where she grew up and graduated high school. She was a 1950 graduate of Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus, Mississippi.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving father, who was her role model and her world, Albert Leist; mother, Evelyn Johns; brother, Billy Leist; her sister, to whom she looked up too and was her everything, Kitty Hovius; and her nanny, whom she loved, Hazel Tennant.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Don Pennington; her two daughters, Cathy Barycki and her husband, Michael and Donna Page; five grandchildren, Micah Barnes, Richy Page, Alyson Page, Alex Page, and Collin Barycki; and several nieces and nephews.
