Anita Louise Vaughan, age 76, of Garland, Texas passed away on July21, 2015, in Dallas, TX.
Anita is survived by her husband, Jack W. Vaughan, her mother Evelyn Thompson, sister Vicki and her husband Phil Johnson and their 2 children Markus and Kelsey. She had 4 children, James David Cole and his wife Vicky, Debbie Courtney and her husband Mike, Lisa Abbott, and Robert Lane and his wife Kim. She had 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel and his wife Lily, Amanda, Zachary, Cory and his wife Haley, Caitlin and her husband Chris. The apple of her eye was her great grandchildren Alexis, Trenton, Paisley, Ivy and James.
She knew the Lord Jesus as her Savior and was a member of the Hope Community Baptist Church in New Hope, TX. She was adored and loved by many.
Funeral services will be held at Charles. W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, July 24th at 10:30am with Allen McHam and Mike Courtney officiating.
Burial will be at the Princeton Cemetery following the service.
