Amelia Martinez, 72, of Royse City, Tx, passed away on April 28,2024.

Amelia was born on May 5,1951 to Abraham & Herlinda Galicia in Tepatlaxco de Hidalgo, Puebla, Mexico.

In 1974, Amelia met Jose in Dallas, TX on the corner Haskell and Capital on the left hand side by a 7-11 (per Jose) . Amelia and Jose went on to have 3 children, Nohemi, Aime and Nancy

Amelia was a determined, hardworking and faithful woman of God. She experienced tribulations but her faith in God was always greater than her adversities. She instilled in her daughters in the way of the Lord and was always supportive in her husband's ministry. She went to meet the Lord but left us a great example to follow. One of her phrases was "Always put everything in the Lord's hands and trust him."

Amelia always instilled in her daughters to be good, strong and determined women and above all, fearful of God. Taught them to trust and love the Lord with all of their heart.

Amelia is survived by her husband Jose, daughters Nohemi, Aime and Nancy, son in laws Victor and Olvin. Her beautiful grandchildren Alexandra, Daniel, Abraham and Hope.

Burial Service will be held at

Charles W. Smith in Lavon, Tx on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:00pm.
