Alyne E. Winkle

Born February 19, 1914 in Franklin County, Texas to parents Oran Perry and Jessie Mae (Bradley) Brown went home to be with our LORD, August 5, 2011.
She married Vernon Winkle, September 2, 1933 and their union lasted 70 years until his death in 2003.
They farmed in Clearwater, Texas until WWII when they moved to Garland, Texas. Alyne went to work for Southern Aircraft Plant during World War II as a lot of woman did during the war to do her part and later she worked at Resitol Hat Factory, Varo and Dresser Industries.
Alyne was a member of Rodgers Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. She loved to cook, crochet, knit, play dominoes, especially 42 and travel with the "Red Hat Society" friends along with caring for her family.
She is survived by her children; Joann Phy and her husband Finis of Mesquite, Texas, Perry Hugh Winkle and his wife Neva of Granbury, Texas and Nancy Ellen Wagoner of North Port, Florida, eight grandsons, Gary Phy, Deryl Phy, Rick Phy, James Winkle, Phillip Winkle, Scott Winkle, Robert Winkle and Jon Wagoner and granddaughter, Kristine Marshall, 26 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and nephew Kenny Brown and a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vernon Winkle, one grandson, Douglas Winkle, two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and two brothers.
Visitation will be 6 " 8 P.M. Monday August 8, 2011 at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. August 9, 2011 at Rodgers Baptist Church, 801 E Buckingham Road, Garland, Texas 75040.
Alyne will be laid to rest by her husband Vernon in Clearwater Cemetery in Franklin County near Winnsboro, Texas, 10:30 A.M. August 10, 2011.
