Ally Michelle Hooten, age 16 of Rowlett, TX, passed away on January 7, 2017 in Nocona, TX. She was born on June 9, 2000 in Garland, TX to Steve and Jana (Lee) Hooten. Ally is survived by her parents, Steve and Jana Hooten; sisters, Emma and Sara Hooten; grandmother, Sue Hooten; grandparents, Tim and Connie Lee; great-granparents, Si and Mary Hamson and Wanda Lee; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David "Ganpa" Hooten. "A special request from Steve and Jana:

Ally was a leader on her school campus and on the field. Her bold, unwavering faith in God is still stirring hearts to know Christ. We would like to continue that legacy by asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Belize Mission Trip fund and the gymnasium building fund at her school, Wylie Preparatory Academy. Ally loved serving on the mission team and she played volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Wylie Prep Patriots. A donation to either of these causes will honor her memory and further grow her legacy.

A Home Going Celebration will be held for Ally at 12:00 p.m, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Northplace Church with Dr. Bryan Jarrett, Pastor Jerry Walls, and Rev. Clark Bosher officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Lavon, TX.
