Allen Babcock Wright, 86, died peacefully in Garland, Texas, on June 27, 2013. He was born March 17, 1927 in Batesville, Arkansas, the son of Paul and Margaret Wright. He was a proud Navy veteran, former owner of Paul Wright's Men's Store in Batesville, an avid outdoorsman and a promoter of youth sports.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann; son Steve Wright of Fayetteville, AR; daughter, Anne Marie Langholz of Cedar Hill, TX; son Franklin Wright of Fayetteville, AR; step-daughter Nancy Alexander of Garland, TX; and seven grandchildren.
A private family graveside service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville will be scheduled later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the charity of your choice.
