Alice Verene Webb of Wylie, Texas passed away June 30, 2013 in Garland, Texas. She was born May 29, 1924 to Barton and Bonnie Hamblen in Dallas, Texas.
Verene worked in the Banking Industry for 35 years and loved what she did.
She enjoyed her family, the outdoors, garage sales, and shopping. She was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Alice is survived by her daughter Jan Lewis and her husband Dub Lewis, four grandchildren; Kerri Paredes, James Spinks, Brooke Blaylock, and Ferrell Reid, five great grandchildren; Kyler Paredes, Kennedy Paredes, Jameson Spinks, Micah Reid, and Gavin Reid.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Ferrell Webb and her daughter Laura Blaylock.
A viewing for family only will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 pm and Funeral Services will follow at 2pm Saturday, June 6th at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dub and Jan Lewis will be officiating.
