Ada Evelyn Sanders

Evelyn Sanders, 80, of Garland, died peacefully Saturday Jan 1, 2022. Friends and family are invited to gather at First Baptist Sachse on January 7, 2022 for visitation at 6:00 – 8:00PM. Her celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Sachse at 1:00 PM. Graveside service will be held immediately following at Sachse cemetery.

Evelyn was born October 26, 1941, in St. Paul, Texas. She attended McKinney High School. Most knew her as Nanny. Nanny felt led to serve others and her true gift was helping her friends and family clean their homes. She never met a stranger and made friends all around town especially Kroger. She loved to talk about her Lord and Savior and her family. Nanny attended First Baptist Sachse for over 60 years. She was faithful to her church and church family. Nanny was the first one to volunteer to help cook for functions and stay to clean up after. Nanny's pride and joys were her grand and great-grand kids. She made sure to show up to school and sporting events and bragged about each of them. She was a wonderful friend who always made a point to visit and pray for those she loved.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life LT Sanders; her parents Fred and Clara Chastain; her brothers Leroy and James Chastain.

Survivors include her daughter Rhonda Sanders Jones and husband Cary; son Virgil Sanders and wife Janet; son Kevin Sanders and wife Michelle; Grandkids Brooke Sanders Krasniqi and husband Driton, Lance Kiser and wife Shayla, Madison Sanders, and Austin Sanders; Great-grand kids Tallen Kiser, Brynlee Krasniqi, Braxton Krasniqi, Wyatt Kiser, Brees Krasniqi, Brexlie Krasniqi, and Swayde Villegas; brother Virgil Chastain and wife Nancy Chastain; sister Mary Lou Klay; and many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and cousins.
